For me, the early U MOB time in krump was a welcomed addition to the movement. Not because anybody was tired of the K.R.U.M.P aspect or that the KK era was stale but it just provided a light to a different type of dancer. I remember Rugged Child, Hit, Rap, Soulja, lil homies of these people and people I’m forgetting…I remember their angle that got me to really vibe with them was Hit, Rap, and Souljas obsession with J Dilla and the musical approach to krump music that they took. The Trax and Rox era…there was a focus on individualism and alternative-ish ways of dressing, living, etc whereas the KK focus seemed to be more rugged and focused strictly on buck. The Mob movement introduced me to so many new artists and fashion brands I’d never listened to/seen as a teen. I knew if I went the UMOB way I was getting originality and style focused content and with KK I was getting the best of the best, the raw, uncut krump. That’s just how it felt to me… alsoI remember Crush growing CCR in Vegas and then being super bloody 🤣. I always felt like UMOB was no different than being from Fed/DC (I forget a lot of the crews it was so long ago). But I loved UMOB and KK/SK. Another great video, wish all you guys could love one another but that’s life.
