| Update: Thanks for participating in our April Fools' joke everyone! I hope it was as much fun for you guys as it was for us :) All of the edited cat images can be viewed in this imgur post. There are 191 pictures in total! So we made a collage at the top to make it easy to see which anime/manga were featured. Hope to see y'all next April Fools~ In the last few years, manga has seen major growth overseas and more readers are born every day. Thanks to our active fan community, we even recently released the You Should Read This Manga list just the other day. And see, this is where we became troubled. With the name "MyAnimeList," it seems we are sometimes mistaken for just an anime database. We want to say, "hey guys, you can also find manga here, too!" But what to do. "MyAnimeandMangaList" (MAaML) just doesn't flow the same... Then it came to us. After 18 years, our brand needed a revolution. And in the age of the modern internet, what better than a kitty revolution. Why the new emphasis on kitties, you ask? Our feline friends are an integral part of anime and manga culture. Refined, well-mannered, and fiercely independent, cats truly represent the ideals of our database administration. You will notice three changes on the site as we move forward into 2023.
How can I help with this endeavour? If you would like to contribute to our efforts to replace Anime/Manga images, we would greatly appreciate it! All you need is:

| I, for one, support this endeavor. Cats make everything better. And that new "Fruits Basket" image is hilarious, but not editing the cat over Kyo is a missed opportunity for obvious reasons. EDIT: In honor of MyKittyList, I finally pulled out the cosplay I had bought months ago and had my new little guy try it on.
